Usually when I post articles on the LaG site I want them to be short and generally entertaining. Sometimes, though, there's an article of length that is so relevant I simply have to post it. That's the case with this article from Wired. Basically it outlines the rise, fall, rise, fall and rise of the CEO of IGE and the corporations related to him. In the end, I came away feeling that these folks who run these companies are exactly what I thought they were in the first place, except worse. But at least now I'm informed and I can base my dislike for these people and their industry on fact. Too much has been said by me already, get yourself a cup of coffee, maybe a snack and sit down and check out the original article from Wired: The Decline and Fall of an Ultra Rich Online Gaming Empire. When you're done, I'd love to get some opinions or vents about the article on our forums, just click the link below to add comments. [ Discuss ] |
